LONDONDERRY, N.H. (AP) – A New Hampshire woman wants to know how a razor blade ended up in a can of iced tea mix she purchased at a local Shaw’s supermarket.
Mary Estabrook says she got a shock last week when she unsealed a can of Lipton iced-tea powder and found a razor blade inside. She notified the Shaw’s store on Route 102, Lipton and the Food and Drug Administration.
Shaw’s pulled similar iced tea products from the shelves and Lipton is investigating.
Estabrook said she’s glad she or her children weren’t hurt by the blade.
