Topsham – On this day Sept. 12, the Lord called one of his angels home, Nicole “Nikki” Marie Christine Carter, 25. She died unexpectantly at her home in Topsham

She was born Aug. 27, 1981, in Brunswick to Tommy Carter of Sabattus and Polly Christie of Brunswick.

She attended Brunswick grade schools, Libby Tozier in Litchfield, Oak Hill, Cony, graduating from Bangor High School and Penobscot Job Corps culinary arts.

She really enjoyed her pet dog Brutus and cats Beetle and Moey.

She enjoyed music and hanging out with her friends and family.

Her beautiful smile will be missed by her father, Tommy Carter and his companion, Christine Richards of Sabattus; her mother, Polly Christie of Topsham; her siblings, Gabe Christie of Lisbon, Neil Christie of Baltimore, Md., Tommy and Carence Carter, both of Lewiston, Heaven Martin and Roxanne White, both of Sabattus and Brandy Carter of Wiscasset; grandmother, Vera Conley of Auburn; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was predeceased by paternal grandfather, Clarence Carter of Brunswick; maternal grandparents, Christine and James Davis; and cousin, Vera Carter.
