AUBURN – David Johnson, certified orthotist, and the staff of Advance Orthotic & Prosthetic Services Inc. announce four new hires.
Certified orthotist Stephen Hamilton joins the staff at the Auburn facility. Hamilton has spent more than seven years in the field of orthotics and prosthetics. He attended the University of Maine at Orono, obtaining his associate and bachelor of science degrees in engineering, and Northwestern University in Chicago studying pedorthics, orthotics and prosthetics. He evaluates, designs and fits orthotics and prosthetics to pediatric, adult and geriatric patients. He resides in South Portland with his son.
Jerry J. Smith, registered technician in prosthetics, joins the Auburn facility as an orthotic and prosthetic technician. He has been in the field for more than six years. He resides in Lewiston with his wife and daughter.
Elaine Rowe joins the staff at the Brunswick facility as a medical secretary. She has 30 years of office administration and account receivable experience. She has held both secretarial and management positions.
Karen Rodrigue joins the staff at the Brunswick facility as a medical secretary/receptionist. She has had many years experience in customer service and several years as a medical secretary. Rodrigue lives in Bowdoinham with her husband.
Advance Orthotic & Prosthetic Services Inc. provides a wide range of orthotic devices, such as bracing, custom orthotics and orthopedic footwear. In recent years, the company has expanded to provide prosthetic services as well. Advance Orthotic & Prosthetic Services Inc. has offices in Auburn and Brunswick, with several satellite offices throughout Southern Maine.
