WATERFORD – The seventh annual Waterford Fall Foliage 5K Road Race is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 24. The 5K race and the 5K Fitness Walk will start at noon. A 1-mile “Fun Run” will begin at 11:30.

The races will start and end at Waterford Common on Routes 35 and 37, also the site of the Great Western Chili Cook-Off. The course runs to Bear Mountain Inn and returns to the common. The first 100 registrants for the 5K events will receive a long-sleeve T-shirt. There will be prizes and drawings after the race.

Entry fee for the 5K or Fitness Walk is $12 ($15 on race day), and for the Fun Run $5.
