In response to those who have been busy trashing our president, take a moment and reflect. Iraq had WMD’s, remember what Saddam Hussein did to the Kurds? I suppose a pocket of gas was released from the desert. They are either buried or have been moved to another terrorist nation for later use.
At the G-8 Summit meeting where President George W. Bush used very frank language, it shows exactly what a lot of us feel regarding the events of the day. Many people were against President Ronald Reagan for his harshness in dealing with the communists, but in hindsight it was exactly what was needed: hard, honest facts. Grabbing the bull by the horns, if you may.
We are too overly concerned about political correctness these days. Say what you mean, even if not everyone appreciates it at the moment. While better planning would have gone a long way, sitting on our couches saying what we could have done better isn’t reality.
Support our country, and if you can’t stand behind our troops, stand in front of them.
