The recent addition of the “b” section to the Sun Journal and, with it, the removal of the business section has made me very unhappy and displeased with the Sun Journal.
My favorite part of the Sun Journal was the business section that came out on Sundays. It had a cover article about the workplace, and inside had an entertainment page, an automotive page, and a technology page, among others. Each of those pages had news from many sources, and was very enlightening and informative. I enjoyed them because those three topics – entertainment, automotive and technology – are my favorite topics to read about.
Now there is the flashy, graphics-heavy “b” section that omits the enlightening and informative articles and, instead, is filled with Mark LaFlamme’s ever-annoying diatribes and sarcastic criticisms, and sections such as “Sexcetera” and “Gripe,” neither of which I find informative or newspaperlike.
The business section was a part of a newspaper, filled with information and news. The “b” section is not. It is frustratingly hard to read and simply devoid of useful information.
I sorely miss the business section. Please consider putting it back, and remove the “b” section from the Sun Journal.
