LEWISTON – Ann T. Constantine, 87, a resident of Jordan Avenue in Livermore Falls, died late Saturday evening at d’Youville Pavilion in Lewiston, where she had resided for the past year.
She was born on Jan. 27, 1919, in Livermore Falls, the daughter of Andrew and Anna (Semancik) Toncer.
She was a 1937 graduate of Livermore Falls High School. On Nov. 12, 1945, she married Theodore “Ted” Constantine of Livermore Falls, at St. Rose of Lima Church in Jay. He died March 20, 1983.
She was a devoted wife and mother. She was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church and was a member of the women’s bowling league.
She is survived by a son, Thomas “Tom” Constantine and his wife, Kathy, of Auburn; a daughter, Ann Constantine and her partner, David Hutchinson, of York; four grandchildren, Amy and Kelly Constantine, Meredith Cheney, and Kathleen Broyles and her husband, Jeff; two great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Nathaniel Broyles; two sisters, Marion Toncer and Elizabeth Toncer, both of Lewiston; and a sister-in-law, Shirley Toncer of Livermore.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Joe and Vincent Toncer; and two sisters, Dolly Richards and Margaret Wilson.
