LEWISTON – Diane A. Saucier, 49, a resident of 78 Avon St., Lewiston, died Sunday, Sept. 17, at Central Maine Medical Center after a short, courageous battle with cancer, with her family by her side.
She was born in Lewiston, Jan. 14, 1957, the daughter of Leo and Yvette (LeBlanc) Chinque. She attended Lewiston schools, and was a 1976 graduate of Lewiston High School. After graduation, she became a full-time employee at Geiger Bros, where she had been employed as a supervisor up until the time of her death.
Her hobbies included gardening, mini-golf and spending time with her family. She also adored her pet cat, “Trouble.”
Survivors include one daughter, Kristine Beauchesne and her husband, Barry, of Greene; two sisters, Sue Labonte and her husband, John, of Leeds and Joan Bouchard and her husband, Tom, of Lewiston; her companion of 21 years, Jim Girardin, of Lewiston; and many nieces and nephews.
