AUBURN – Philip Dudley, 97, a resident of 9 Gartley St., Lisbon, died peacefully Saturday, Sept. 16, at the Androscoggin Hospice House.
He was born in Waite, Dec. 3, 1908, the son of John and Anna (Williams) Dudley. He attended northern Maine schools and moved to this area many years ago. He was employed as a machinist in the local area for many years, until his retirement, at which time he dabbled in his trade up until two months ago.
He enjoyed the great outdoors, including hunting and fishing, as well making rugs as a hobby.
Survivors include two sons, Philip Lee Dudley and Paul E. Dudley and his wife, Patricia, all of Carbondale, Colo.; one daughter, Jean McVey and her husband, Frederick, of Gilmanton, N.H.; four grandchildren, Ronnie Ermini, Larry Ermini, Raymond Dudley and Lucas Dudley; and three great-grandchildren, Michael Dudley, Erica Ermini and Anthony Ermini.
