SEABROOK, N.H. (AP) – The hate mail charges against a Brentwood man now are a federal case.
Elijah Wallace, 23, has been indicted on nine federal charges of mailing threatening letters.
According to documents filed in federal court in Concord, Wallace is accused of sending letters that threatened a Seabrook pastor and the pastor’s daughter and daughter-in-law.
Wallace is being held without bail. Details on the other indictments weren’t released, but Wallace also had been accused of sending a threatening letter to a Portsmouth rabbi. He sent a letter to the rabbi in July that contained “very vivid references” to violence against Jewish people, police said.
