AUBURN – A celebration of life service for True Ridley Sr., was held Tuesday from the Memorial Chapel of Dillingham & Son with True’s son-in-law Dick McCannell presiding. Words of remembrance were expressed by True’s daughter, Julie Goodell who also read a poem by True’s niece, Tanya Lawson; also sharing memories were True’s daughter, Jeana McCannell, daughter-in-law, Tykey Ridley, and great-grandchildren, Cory, Jacob and Tara May. At the conclusion of the service the U.S. Navy Honor Detail played “Taps” and presented our country’s flag to True’s brother, Gordon Ridley in honor of his brother’s service to his country during the Korean Conflict. A reception of fellowship then followed the services at True’s home in Minot. Arrangements by the family-owned Dillingham & Son Memorial Chapel.
