MEXICO – Funeral services for Louise Greig of Portland and formerly of Rumford were conducted Saturday, Sept. 16, at the Mexico Congregational Church with the Rev. Virginia Snapp-Cunningham officiating. Organist was Cindy Bohren. Music selections included “In The Garden” and “How Great Thou Art.” Special music “Trust in Me” was given by the Mexico, UCC, choir anthem, and “I Walk Today Where Jesus Walked” and “Wind Beneath My Wings” was sung by Robert Bohren. The eulogy was given by her friend the Rev. Ronald Ashworth. Words of remembrance were given by son Thomas Greig and daughter-in-law Bethany Greig. Committal services were conducted by the Rev. Virginia Snapp-Cunningham. Interment was in the Farrington-Morton Cemetery, Mexico. Pallbearers were Steve Fox, Norman Gagnon, Brian Rajotte, the Rev. Ronald Ashworth, Arthur Meader and Al Hanington. A reception followed the services at the Mexico Congregational Church dining hall. Arrangements were under the care of the Meader & Son Funeral Home, Rumford.
