RUMFORD – A Mass of Christian Burial for Philip Anastasio was celebrated Friday, Sept. 22, at St. Athanasius – St. John Church. Celebrants were the Rev. Alfred Jacques and the Rev. Sylvio Levesque. Pallbearers were James Anastasio, Frank, John, Eugene, Gary Downs and Dick Plourde. Altar server was George Gionet. Readings were done by Sarah and Don Sillars. Eulogy was given by his daughter Marian Goff. Interment in St. John Cemetery, Rumford. Arrangements were under the direction of the Meader & Son Funeral Home.
