It is with pleasure that I write in support of Roy Gedat to be my state representative. He is not just showing up in town around election time. He is there in my downtown neighborhood, walking the streets and serving my community in vital ways throughout the years.
I often see Gedat skipping up the steps of the post office. He smiles and talks with me about local issues. He is a good listener, and allows me the freedom of expression. He has a good sense of humor, vital in dealing with a bureaucracy. He returns phone calls and answers letters. He didn’t hesitate when I asked him to meet me for coffee to talk over town issues. He is genuine, with good intentions.
He has been a devoted volunteer with our downtown efforts and I consider him a gentleman.
