BREWER – Marcel E. Gosselin, 67, of Orrington, formerly of Lewiston, died Friday, Sept. 22, at Brewer Rehabilitation Center following a long illness.

He was born in Lewiston on Sept. 3, 1939, the son of Archille and Beatrice Coulombe Gosselin. He was educated at Holy Cross School. He worked as a carpenter locally for many years until he moved to Orrington in 1980. Marcel had many relatives and friends in the area. He will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Gestured Berube Gosselin of Orrington, formerly of Lewiston; three daughters, Marie-Anne Waddell and husband, Stephen, of Bangor, Monique Brooks of Clifton, and Marlene Grover and husband, Charles Grover Jr., of Eddington; one son, Mark Gosselin of Orrington; four grandchildren; three sisters, Exilia St. Pierre of York, Yvette Gosselin of Wells, and Liette Poliquin of Palermo; two brothers, Jean Paul Gosselin and his wife, Lucille, of Orrington, and Donald Gosseling and his wife, Jeannine, of Lewiston; and a sister-in-law, Doris Gosselin of Lewiston.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Germain “Gerry” Gosselin.
