SKOWHEGAN – Gail Merrick of Skowhegan and Perley and Karen Merrick of Lamoine, along with Mary Paradis and the late Roland Paradis of Winslow are pleased to announce the engagement of their children, Christie Ann Merrick and Paul Daniel Paradis.
Miss Merrick is a graduate of Thomas College in Waterville and Bay Path College in Massachusetts, where she received a bachelor’s degree in business administration and financial accounting. She is the granddaughter of Gloria and the late Orris Hewett and the late Wendell and Mertie Merrick.
Mr. Paradis is a graduate of Thomas College and is working toward completing his master’s degree, majoring in business administration and computer technology. Following graduation, he is set to pursue a doctorate in information technology. He is the grandson of the late Frank and Gladys Crawford and the late Joseph and Exilia Paradis.
The couple currently resides in Benton. A fall wedding is planned for Sept. 30.
