Every time change presents itself in this state, officials tell the elderly services will be cut.

What services exactly, and why? TABOR does not take money away. It simply says if the state wants it, they act like a borrower and ask for it.

I wish the officials would also tell the elderly about taxing them out of their homes in order to pay for those services.

I suggest cuts to, perhaps, DHS employees and buildings, or maybe reclaim the extra $145 million that was found. Maybe sell the extra cars the state owns that sit around in lots not being used.

Maine needs to be accountable, like everyone else.

Colorado is not close to being the highest taxed state in the nation. They also have jobs, industry and population.

Schools do not have to suffer, but maybe they have, as our current city and state administrations seem to have never learned to admit when they are wrong, or taken Problem Solving 101.
