LEWISTON – The Maine Centers for Women, Work and Community in Lewiston is offering a free, 12-week training program to help those who have a business idea but don’t know how to get started.
Anyone interested is invited to take part in a New Ventures Entrepreneurship Training course teaching how to create a written business plan, learn about the marketing, financial record-keeping, and management of a small business, and practice entrepreneurship skills such as decision-making. The course will be held from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Wednesdays from Nov. 8, through Jan. 31, 2007, at UMA/USM Lewiston-Auburn College, Lewiston.
