After reading the letters to the editor in the Sept. 18 edition of the Sun Journal, all I can say is “Wow.”

Ronald Melendy’s opinion in “Danger from the religious right” and Kate Cooper’s opinion in “Emboldening terrorists” are some of the most twisted logic I have ever read.

Until now, I have been willing to give people the benefit of the doubt when their viewpoints did not agree with mine. However, I am now convinced after reading those letters that Michael Savage is 100 percent correct when he says, “Liberalism is a mental disorder.”

If anyone missed reading those letters, go back and do so. People with this mindset are running the government, schools, the press, and probably most terrifying of all, they are voting.

I truly believe those folks won’t be happy until this country is socialist or, worse, communist. People who don’t believe as they do must get out and vote this November.
