PORTLAND – LuAnn Walker Harris, 50, of Warren, died Thursday, Sept. 21, at Maine Medical Center after a sudden illness.

She was born in Lewiston, Feb. 17, 1956, a daughter of Harry D. and Elaine Jean Walker of Auburn. She graduated from Edward Little High School in 1974.

She was an avid flower gardener and mother to many lucky cats and a faithful dog. She touched the lives of many people less fortunate than herself, be they elderly and housebound or young and in need of loving guidance. Her home was always a welcoming retreat for many good friends and family, for a good meal and good times.

She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her generosity and loving nature.

She is survived by her husband of 15 years, Timothy Harris; her parents; her sister, Jolene Walker and brother-in-law, Jeffrey Brushwein of Lehigh Acres, Fla.
