RUMFORD – A Mass of Christian Burial for Gertrude L. Boivin was celebrated Tuesday, Sept. 26, at St. Athanasius – St. John Catholic Church. The Rev. James Martel was the celebrant; the altar server George Gionet, and Mark Belanger was the organist. Special music was J’irai la voir un jour. Readings were read by Jeanne Treleaven and Aaron Paulson. The eulogy was given by Richard Paulson. Pallbearers were Michael and Ralph Metayer, Eugene and Arthur Boivin, Jim Parker and Dan Bilodeau. Interment followed in St. John Cemetery with Deacon Rod Berger offering the committal prayers. A reception followed in the parish hall. Services were under the care of S.G. Thibault Funeral Home.
