I am writing to encourage readers to support Sen. Peggy Rotundo in her bid for re-election representing Lewiston.

I have known Sen. Rotundo for many years, starting when she taught for Lewiston Adult Education.

As an instructor, Sen. Rotundo learned firsthand what a difference adult education makes in the lives of individuals and their families.

During her legislative career, she has been a tremendous advocate for adult education, and never misses a chance to visit the Lewiston Adult Education program and talk with students.

Most recently, I have worked with Sen. Rotundo as she chaired the Lewiston Education Fund. There is no question that she believes in providing opportunities for learners of all ages, and I hope voters in House District 16 vote for her on Nov. 7.
