LEWISTON – Ann M. Cifelli, 89, of Lewiston died Tuesday, Sept. 26, at d’Youville Pavilion, where she has been a resident since July of this year.

She was born in Fort Kent on June 20, 1917, a daughter of Damase and Georgina Bois. She attended school in Fort Kent. She moved to Lewiston in 1933, and worked in the textile mills and shoe factories of this area. She married D. Thomas Cifelli June 2, 1941; they were married for 13 years.

She was a communicate of St. Patrick’s Church and a member of the Sodality. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and spending time with family members and friends. She was especially proud of her two grandsons and her great-grandson.

She is survived by one son, Daniel F. Cifelli and his wife, Ellen, of Auburn; two grandsons, Christopher T. Cifelli and his wife, Michelle and their son, Daniel A. Cifelli of Auburn and Todd L. Cifelli and his companion, Christina Rivard, of Lewiston; one sister, Antoinette (Toni) Darling of Auburn; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her mother and father; her sister, Leona Mann; two brothers, David Bois and Leonard Bois; and her former husband.

The family wishes to express gratitude for the compassion and professional care Ann received both at Seville Park Plaza, where she was a resident for three years, as well as d’Youville Pavilion, where she resided since July of this year.
