LEWISTON – A funeral Mass for Roland A. Vachon was held on Wednesday, Sept. 27, at Holy Family Church after prayers at the Pinette Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Ken Dakin celebrated the Mass and recited committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Military Honors from the U.S. Army played taps and presented our country’s flag to his son Donald Vachon. The pallbearers were Don Sylvester, Glen Slowik, Thomas Dodge, Chad Roth, Paul Morin and Roger Begin. A reception of fellowship was held at Marco’s Restaurant after the committal services.
