TIERRA VERDE, Fla. – Stacey Jane Plummer, 43, of Tierra Verde, Fla., formerly of Auburn, died Sunday, Sept. 24, at her residence.

She was born in Hartford, Conn., and lived in Auburn from 1968 to 1986, and attended Edward Little High School. She attended the University of Maine before transferring to Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Fla. She then graduated from Stetson University College of Law and opened a family law practice in St. Petersburg.

She was an accomplished performer in a local rock band Legal Limit, an expert and avid snow skier, an enthusiastic sports fan for high school, college and professional football, basketball and baseball. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her three children, Julia, Jane and Jacob Plummer of Tierra Verde, Fla.; her parents, William and Barbara Plummer of Tierra Verde, Fla.; her sister, Julie Plummer of Largo, Fla.; her brother, Jeffrey Plummer of Gulfport, Fla.; two nephews, Austin Plummer and Christopher Plummer, both of Gulfport, Fla.; and a niece, Sydney Shiben of Largo, Fla.
