I recently spent a most enjoyable, informative and enlightening afternoon visiting Jim Nutting’s butterfly, insect, stained glass and myriad art collection in a former Lisbon Falls church that serves as his showcase, studio and work center.

I was so impressed by what I observed, including Jim’s enthusiasm and years of knowledge, as well as a tour of the museum, live demonstrations of creatures both benign and poisonous and a visit to the cellar where talented stained glass artists were methodically working on slow and detailed restorations of stained glass windows from different churches.

I encourage anyone to visit and take in all the sights.

Kudos to you, Jim, and your staff. This is no fly-by-night operation.
