I am very disappointed in local and state government. Maine elderly need help now for rental assistance, but local and state government say there’s an overflow of people right now. Rents in Lewiston are way too high. The elderly’s Social Security income is not enough to pay rent. There’s a problem here.

I guess local and state government don’t get it. The elderly should have top priority. There’s too many hoops and too much red tape. Stop helping foreign people and help our elderly first. The people of Maine paid their taxes all their lives. Maine people should put their foot down and stop all the red tape.
