BOOTHBAY HARBOR – The wedding of Jessi Libby and Robert Brooks was held at 4 p.m. on Aug. 19 in an outdoor ceremony at the Ocean Gate Inn in Boothbay Harbor. Sarah Giles, notary public, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Brooks is the daughter of Ginny and Rock Libby of Hartford. She is the granddaughter of Dorothy and the late Edwin Parsons of Hartford and Patricia and the late Lloyd Libby of North Turner. Mr. Brooks is the son of Terri and Robert Brooks of Lewiston.

The bride, who was escorted down the aisle by her father, wore a strapless white satin gown in A-line style with lace-up back and sweep train, with the trim in periodot. She carried a bouquet of white roses and white Calla lilies.

Kerri Libby, sister of the bride, was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Tara Averill and Meghan Meader, friends of the bride.

Mike Brooks, brother of the bridegroom, was best man, and ushers were Adam Bellemore and Chris Dumont.

The bride is employed at Unum Provident in Portland, and the bridegroom is employed at Shaw’s in Biddeford.

After a honeymoon trip to the Bahamas, the couple is residing in Saco.
