AUGUSTA – David Webbert, a resident of Wayne and a partner in the Augusta law firm of Johnson & Webbert L.L.P., has been elected to membership in the American Law Institute.

The ALI was organized in 1923 to improve the law and its administration. Its membership consists of federal and state judges, lawyers and law professors. Its elected membership is limited to 3,000.

Webbert is president of the Maine Employment Lawyers Association, and is a graduate of Harvard Law School.
