GREENE – Fran and Brook Reidelberger will present their latest film, “The Other Side of Mexico,” at the Sawyer Memorial, 371 Sawyer Road. Shows will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 5, and 2 and 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6. Admission is free and doors open one hour before shows.
Reidelberger has been chasing mountains to see what’s on the other side since his childhood days in Nashville, Ill.
His major studies were history and journalism at Merrimack College, North Andover, Mass., and Central Michigan University.
The U.S. Navy gave him an opportunity to continue his travels throughout the Far East, with stops in Hong Kong, Japan, Okinawa and the Philippines.
The film will take the audience to Mexico City, Sierra Gorda, San Miguel de Allende and Colima to the Pacific beaches of Barra de Navidad and Melaque. They will also visit Guadalajara and Lake Chapala, Michoacan villages and the winter home of the Monarch butterflies.
