AUBURN – Annie Frances Switser, 71, a resident of 392 Elm St., Mechanic Falls, died peacefully Monday, Oct. 2 at the Androscoggin Hospice House with her loving family by her side.

She was born in Mexico, Feb. 8, 1935, the daughter of William E. and Glennys (McKenna) Davis. She attended Mexico schools and was a 1952 graduate of Mexico High School.

On May 10, 1953, she married, Robert H. Switser. Together they moved to Hudson Falls, N.Y., where they lived until 1962.

They eventually settled in 1969 to a farm in Hebron, where it was a family affair raising chickens.

She was always there for her family. She loved to cook, and make quilts. She also enjoyed sewing, reading and gardening.

Survivors include her husband, Robert H. Switser of Mechanic Falls; two sons, Michael A. Switser, and his wife, Tamara, of Cabot, Ark. and William H. “Bill” Switser, of Winthrop; four daughters, April J. Whiting and Tina M. Desrosiers, both of Auburn, Robin A. Dulac, and her husband, Mark, of Sabattus and Janelle S. Littlefield, and her husband, Stuart, of Oxford; two brothers, Gordon Clay of Lewiston and Delmont Davis of Massachusetts; seven grandchildren, Frank Bennett III, and his wife, Patty, of Auburn, Robert H. Bennett, and his wife, Gail, of Waterford, Matthew L.M. Desrosiers and Aaron J. Desrosiers, both of Auburn, Madeline G. Littlefield of Oxford, Julia J. Dulac of Sabattus and Jackson D. Littlefield of Oxford; five great-grandchildren, Ashley Bennett, Allison Bennett and Brandon Bennett, all of Auburn, Cole Bennett and J.R. Foster, both of Waterford; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and uncles.

She was predeceased by two sisters; and three brothers.
