MONMOUTH – Jenn Lola paved the way with two goals and an assist as Monmouth posted a 5-0 triumph over Madison.

Lola started the scoring off with a free kick from the 25-yard line. Suzi Chick and Darcy Cote then scored unassisted goals, before Lola’s second goal of the contest to round out the first half. Brittany Hilton headed in the ball off a corner kick by Lola to score the lone goal of the second half for the Mustangs (7-3-1).

Alyssa Morin registered 10 saves for the shutout. Brittney Litchtenfels stopped eight shots in the Bulldog (0-10-1) effort.

St. Dom’s 7, OOB 0

OLD ORCHARD BEACH – Ali Desjardin netted a pair of goals Tuesday to lead St. Dom’s to a 7-0 victory over Old Orchard Beach in a WMC girl’s soccer matchup.

Jordan Paquete, Katelyn Bermudez, Chrissy Ouellette, Danielle Guerin and Erin Landry also tallied for the Saints (6-2-2). Elise Applegate and Amy Therriault combined for three saves in net to preserve the shutout.

Rachel Hatch handled netkeeping duties for the Seagulls (0-10), turning aside 17 shots. The Saints held a 5-0 advantage at the half, then piled on two more in the second frame.

Buckfield 1, GPC 0

BUCKFIELD – Freshman Ashlee Hamann made a quick move to the inside and fired a shot over the head of GPC keeper Rebecca Gagnon and into the net to lift Buckfield to a 1-0 victory over Greater Portland Christian.

Hamann’s goal came 23 minutes into the second half. Alyssa Henderson made 10 saves in net for the Bucks (9-3-1) to preserve the shutout. Rebecca Gagnon handled netkeeping chores for GPC (2-6), turning aside 14 shots.

Wells 4, Gray-NG 3

GRAY – Brooke Stevens notched a pair of goals as Wells topped Gray/New Gloucestor 4-3 in girls’ soccer action played Tuesday.

Emily Wood and Lilly Colley each scored for Wells.

The G-NG effort was led by Jen Faranyz, who tallied all three goals, with assists by Kelsie Taylor and Elyse Doyle.

Mt. Abram 4, Carrabec 0

SALEM – Four different players scored for the Mt. Abram offensive effort, posting a 4-0 victory over Carrabec in girls’ soccer Tuesday.

Rachel Fullerton and Logahn Walker each scored first half goals for the Roadrunners (6-1-4). Erica Luce tallied an unassisted goal, while Hannah James converted a pass from sister Emma to round out the scoring in the second half. Noelle Lake stopped all four shots she faced to preserve the shutout.

Bangor 1, Mt. Blue 0

BANGOR – Catherine LeClair crossed a pass to Casey Hartley, who’s shot landed in the low far corner for the game’s lone goal to give Bangor a 1-0 victory over Mt. Blue in girls’ soccer.

Tawnya Godinez faced only one shot in net for the undefeated Bangor (12-0) shutout.

Mt. Blue (5-4-3) had a strong second half, but couldn’t seem to find the back of the net. Caitlin Scott made fives saves in the losing cause.

Mt. Blue 4, Lawrence 3

FAIRFIELD – Alyson Webster drove in a successful penalty stroke with 3:40 left in the contest to give Mt. Blue a 4-3 victory over Lawrence in KVAC field hockey action Tuesday afternoon.

Marissa Allen, Michelle Oswald, and Casey Kidd each netted a goal for the Mt. Blue (8-5-1) victory.

The Lawrence (4-8) offense was led by Heather Gillman with a pair of goals, both assisted by Nicole Guimond. Mallory Blakney rounded out the scoring. The Bulldogs offensive pressure was evident by their 22-5 edge in penalty corners.

St. Dom’s 3, Old Orchard Beach 0

AUBURN – Mary Lewis and Hillary Gove each had a goal and an assist as St. Dom’s posted a 3-0 win over Old Orchard Beach in a field hockey contest Tuesday.

Erika Vanderwerf rounded out the scoring for the Saints (10-0). Eliza Dox, Katie Landry, and Chelsea St. Onge-May all were credited with assists. The Saints had total offensive control throughout the match, outshooting the Seagulls (6-6), 42-3.

Kristi Geaumont was strong in goal for the Old Orchard Beach, turning aside 39 shots.

Oak Hill 2, MCI 1 (OT)

PITTSFIELD – Hannah Bradstreet converted a pass from Mae Nadeau 1:45 into overtime to lift Oak Hill to a 2-1 victory over MCI.

Bradstreet tallied both goals for the Raiders, while Nadeau also assisted on both. Frankie Curtis and Brittany Wood combined for 10 saves in net to record the win.

Courtney Howe handled netkeeping duties for the Huskies (1-11), turning aside 10 shots. MCI took a 1-0 advantage into the break, but Oak Hill tied the contest late in the second frame.
