TURNER – Paul Austin Nadeau, 53, of Turner, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, Oct. 3, after a courageous battle with cancer; he was home with his family by his side.

He was born in Lewiston on Aug. 9, 1953, the son of Lionel and Evelyn Stewart Nadeau. He attended Poland School and was a member of the East Auburn Baptist Church.

He worked at the Libbey Mill, Bell Manufacturing, KWS, and other textile industries. He enjoyed watching sports, gardening, hunting, fishing, but most of all he enjoyed concerts and family trips.

He is survived by his wife, Doris; daughters, Michele, and her companion, Chris, Amanda; stepchildren, Jenny, Jessica and Jake; grandchildren, Britney and Demetrius; his brothers, David, and his wife, Barbara, of Auburn, Donald, and his wife, Diane, of Lewiston and Bruce, and his companion, Karen, of Hebron; his sisters, Nancy and Leo Tardif of Turner, Patty and Arthur Hould of Greene, Susan and Frenchy Oulette of Poland, Pam and Ron Bosse of Turner, Debbie and Calvin Colby of Lewiston and Lorna Hunt, and companion, Don, of Mechanic Falls; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents; and a sister, Christine Elizabeth Smith.
