Election Day is Nov. 7 and I am voting no on Question One: the Taxpayer Bill of Rights.
Here is the main reason why: I know this formula is going to destroy many of our governmental services, like schools, road maintenance, police and fire. Programs for the disabled and elderly and young children will also suffer.
Even if we have issues with taxes in the state of Maine, TABOR is not the right answer. We are not a one-size fits all state.
