Voters in Senate District 13 have a choice: Sen. David Hastings or challenger Marge Medd. Hastings presented four bills ranging from reducing tax burden to helping our local county fairs (all of which passed). Hastings wholeheartedly supports the Taxpayer Bill of Rights, giving taxpayers control.

Marge Medd states she is known as a person who gets things done. The facts do not support this claim. Local voters have given thousands of dollars for a technology park that after repeated promises to be built, has yet to break ground. The Odd Fellows building in Norway is the the latest disaster, not to mention her opposition to TABOR.

Does this sound like someone who gets things done?

Hastings has represented us admirably. My vote, and I suggest yours, is for David Hastings. He listens, cares, wants to control taxes and will make a difference.
