LEWISTON – The B-1 Division of the Lewiston Rec Coed Volleyball League at the Multi-Purpose Center began its season Wednesday with 12 teams. Following are Wednesday’s opening results: Team Air Force 2-1 over Team Keller, 21-10, 18-21, 15-8; General Electric 3-0 over Levesque Excavation, 21-10, 21-2, 21-11; Mountain Road RV 2-1 over Rowe Builders, 18-21, 21-12, 21-15; South of the Border 2-1 over Strout CPA, 17-21, 21-12, 21-11; Maine Commercial Door/Buddy T’s 2-1 over Marston Logging, 21-13, 12-21, 21-19; Downeaster Pension 3-0 over Ducharme Masonry, 21-12, 21-12, 21-15.

October 11 schedule: 6:15, Downeast Pension vs General Electric; Marston Logging vs South of Border; 7:15, Ducharme vs Maine Commerical Door/Buddy T’s; Rowe vs Team Air Force; 8:15, Levesque vs Mountain Road RV; Strout vs Team Keller.

The B-2 Division competes on Thursday nights. Practice sessions were scheduled for last night. The B-2 Division is slated to begin Thursday, Oct. 12.
