“Wow” was my reaction to Diana Lovejoy’s letter (Sept. 17). Talk about being out of touch with reality.
Mindless hate and bigotry shown by liberals is killing our country. Spreading hate and misinformation is wrong, whether it’s against Jews, African-Americans, Catholics, Muslims or the president.
It’s not George Bush’s fault you stubbed your toe or got a flat tire. To blame a “right wing partisan conspiracy” for airing “lies” in the ABC docudrama “Road to 9-11” is beyond ludicrous.
Fact: Dick Morris, Clinton’s aide for 20 years, admitted all the removed material was factual.
Fact: The removed material was documented by the bipartisan 9-11 commission.
Fact: Bill Clinton threatened to sue ABC to remove the material and it capitulated, yet in Lovejoy’s fantasy world, she still accuses the network of showing the deleted “biased” material.
Most outrageous of all – ABC is owned by Disney. Disney’s CEO is George Mitchell – Maine’s former U.S. senator and former Senate majority leader of the Democrats.
If we believe Lovejoy, Mitchell is a member of the “vast right-wing conspiracy.”
I choose to live in the world of reality. I like facts, not propaganda and hate speech. That’s why a majority of young people such as myself are registering Republican. That’s also why George Bush overwhelmingly carried the 18-29 year-old age bracket in 2004.
More people should join me in the world of reality and believe facts, not hate speech.
