I have had the great honor to serve in the Maine House of Representatives with Janet Mills.

In the Mills tradition, Janet comes to every debate thoroughly prepared and willing to buck her party if she believes that any law would work against the constituents in her district.

As a member of the Appropriations Committee, Mills has been extremely effective in holding the committee’s feet to the fire and protecting the interests of rural Maine.

In 2004, Mills and I shared the honor by being named by the 7,000-member Maine chapter of the National Federation of Small Business as “Champions of Small Business.”

She is a tireless advocate for the people of her district.

Maine and the people of District 89 would be well served to return this seasoned representative, Janet Mills, to the Maine House of Representatives for her last term.
