LEWISTON – Martha J. Amirault and Roger K. Robinson were united in marriage in a 1 p.m. wedding Mass on May 20 at St. Joseph’s Church in Lewiston. The Rev. Michael Seavey officiated at the ceremony.
The bride was escorted to the altar by her brother, Blaine H. Jack of Sanford. Her matron of honor was her friend, Mary J. Provencher. Bridesmaids were Amber, Tara, and Moriah Churchill, godchild of the bride, and Heather Robinson, granddaughter of the bridegroom.
Best man was the bridegroom’s son, Bruce C. Robinson, and groomsmen were Brad Robinson, grandson of the bridegroom, Sam Green, Brad Metzger and Kenny Roy. Ryan Paione, age 5, was the ring bearer.
A reception was held at Lost Valley in Auburn, with Greg Curry as DJ. Edith Churchill of Auburn was in charge of the gifts, and Deborah Markee of Albuquerque, N.M., circulated the guest book. Marjorie Brouillette of Auburn made the three-tier wedding cake with fresh flowers on top, matching wedding party colors of pink, mauve and cranberry red.
The bride, a graduate of Thomaston High School and the University of Maine at Augusta, is a retired federal government employee.
The bridegroom, a graduate of Portland High School and Northeastern Business College, is retired from 34 years at Grand Trunk Railroad (Canadian National Railway).
The couple honeymooned at the Marriott Bridal Suite in Sable Oaks, Portland, a wedding gift from their family. They are residing in Lewiston.
Guests attended from New Mexico, Arizona, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Massachusetts and Maine.
