• Practice a home fire escape plan, and know where to meet parents outside of the house in case there’s an emergency.

• Know what to do when a smoke alarm sounds.

• Stop, drop and roll if clothes catch fire

• To cool a burn, tell a grownup and then cool the area with cool water.

• Matches and lighters are not toys. They’re for grownups only. Tell a grownup if you find them.
