Some people have the biggest of hearts when it comes to injured critters. One woman we know pulled a squirrel out of her pool, got it breathing again and kept it under a light to warm it up before returning it to the wild. She also saved a hummingbird. Have you helped a bird with a broken wing or tried to save any injured animal? If you have an animal-rescue story you’d like to share, please send an e-mail to [email protected], or call Ursula Albert at 689-2880 by Monday, Oct. 16.
