Brunswick – Anna Mae Maletich, 54, of Lisbon Falls passed unexpectedly after a very brief illness with lung cancer on Wednesday, Oct. 11, at Mid Coast Hospital with her loving family by her side.
She was born on Aug. 7, 1952, in Lykens, Pa., a daughter of Harry and Helen Laudenslager. She attended Pennsylvania schools and graduated from Upper Dauphin Area High School. She later married her soul mate, Charles Maletich on May 31, 1975, in Wiconisco, Pa. In 1990, they moved to Lisbon Falls with their two daughters and she went on to work at Camp Keyes in Augusta, and later transferred to the Naval Air Station, Brunswick and was currently employed at SupShips in Bath.
She had previously worked in Pennsylvania National Guard at Ft. Indiantown Gap. She was very active in her children’s endeavors and attended all of her girls’ events. She was a former treasurer for the Lisbon High School Athletic Booster Club for several years. She greatly enjoyed doing crafts, cross stitching, gardening, watching sports such as football and baseball and especially loved spending time with her pets. She was a very loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her loving husband, Charles Maletich of Lisbon Falls; her two daughters, Jennifer Boudreau, and husband, Ward, of Gardiner and Brianne Highfill, and husband, Wesley, of Lisbon Falls; her mother, Helen Laudenslager; her four brothers, and one sister, Harry Laudenslager, and wife, Vicki, Terry Laudenslager, and wife, Deb, Tim Laudenslager, and wife, Trish, Kim Laud-enslager and Katherine Olinick; her grandson, Tucker Boudreau; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was predeceased by her father, Harry Laudenslager; and a brother, Scott.
