I am writing this letter to support John Patrick for state representative. He has six years experience in the Maine Legislature already. He served the people one-term on the Labor committee, and three terms on the Legal and Veterans Affairs committee. John was chosen chairman of the Legal and Veterans Affairs committee this past session because of his leadership abilities. He was also chosen House chair of the Citizens Trade Policy Commission in 2004.

John was past president of our local paperworkers union, Local 900, and was past president of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

John has the endorsement of the Maine AFL-CIO for his stance on livable wages and better working conditions for all hourly-paid men and women in the state.

He has proven leadership abilities and deserves support in his bid for state representative in House District 92.
