AMHERST, Mass. – Nick Kehoe threw for 330 yards and three touchdowns to lead Amherst to a 38-3 victory over Colby on Saturday.

The teams traded field goals before Amherst (3-1, 3-1 NESCAC) pulled away. Jim Eckenrode caught the first of his two touchdown receptions with 41 seconds left in the half, to give the Jeffs a 10-3 lead.

Kehoe, who completed 21 of 31 passes with no interceptions, connected with Mark Hannon for a 27-yard TD pass early in the third. Aaron Rauh’s 5-yard run made it 24-3 at the end of the third quarter.

Eckenrode’s second score was a 47-yard pass on the first play of the fourth quarter. Anthony Fuller added a 9-yard TD run.
