LEWISTON – The wedding of Stephanie Lynn Morin and Chad Philip Wright was held at 1 p.m. on July 15 at Saints Peter and Paul Basilica. The Rev. Brian Blanchette officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Wright is the daughter of Don and Sharlene Morin of Monmouth. Mr. Wright is the son of Philip and Julie Wright of Monmouth.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a satin halter gown with V-neckline, side drape, lace-up back and beaded embroidery on bodice and chapel train. She carried a bouquet of yellow roses with periwinkle delphinium and ivy.

Stacey Morin, sister of the bride, attended as maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Katie Charpentier, cousin of the bride, and Amanda (Canedy) Salso, Erin Welch and Robin Billings, friends of the bride. Kierra Rolston, cousin of the bride, and Madison Wright, cousin of the bridegroom, were flower girls.

Brother of the bridegroom, Brandon Wright, served as best man, and ushers were Nicholas Scott, Andrew Barter, Jacob Perron and Joseph Sargent, friends of the bridegroom.

A reception followed at Lost Valley, after which the couple went on a Royal Caribbean cruise from Florida to the Bahamas. They are residing in Monmouth.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of the University of Maine at Orono with a major in English and a minor in business. She is employed at the Maine Department of Education in Augusta.

The bridegroom is a 2005 graduate of the University of Maine at Orono, with a major in elementary education. He is employed at Formed Fiber Technologies in Auburn.
