DIXFIELD – The Buotte family reunion was held at Mountain View Campground on July 29. A potluck lunch was served, followed by an auction with auctioneer Steve Buotte. The the tug of war winner was the Mt.Valley Rope Pullers team, and winners of the volleyball match was the P.E.I Ramblers team. Horseshoe tournament winners were Andy Gamez of Rumford and Ernie Cloutier of Dixfield. Winner of the 50/50 was Gary Hanmer of Dixfield.

Youngest in attendance was Alveah Buotte of New Port Richey, Fla., and oldest were twin sisters, Vivian Buotte of Mexico and Lillian Buotte Kellogg of Rumford. Traveling the furthest was Donna Buotte Wiggin of Jakarta, Indonesia.

Guests attended from Indonesia, Jackson, New Port Richey and Palm Bay, Fla., Georgia, Voluntown, Conn., Hopewell Junction, N.Y., Rumford, Mexico, Dixfield, Roxbury, Skowhegan, Avon, Anson, Wayne, Clinton and Boothbay.

Activities were capped off with karaoke by Bill and Betsy Lynn of Wayne. The next reunion will be July 28, 2007, at Mountain View Campground.
