PORTLAND – Rhobie Alfreda Jordan Levesque, 76, of South Paris, died Saturday, Oct. 14, at Maine Medical Center.

She was born on March 4, 1930, in Mechanic Falls, the daughter of Joseph E. and Edris M. Jordan. She graduated from Mechanic Falls High School in 1948 and was valedictorian of her class.

She worked at Mac’s Restaurant in Mechanic Falls during her teens and later at the Dunlop Insurance Agency in Auburn, before moving to Connecticut, then later to Massachusetts, where she enjoyed employment in skilled office work.

She met and married Rene Levesque, and they made their home in North Chelmsford, Mass., until he retired. They returned to Maine to live out their golden years in South Paris. She will be sadly missed.

She is survived by her husband of South Paris; and a sister, Elizabeth Maxine Jordan Prince of South Paris.
