FALMOUTH – Gail D. Fortin has been promoted to assistant vice president in merchant services at TD Banknorth Inc. in Falmouth. As a product specialist in the Operations Division, she will continue to coordinate product research, analysis, development and implementation of products, equipment, software and other programs to determine the best offers for credit card merchants.

Fortin joined TD Banknorth in 2004 and has 24 years of banking experience. Prior to joining TD Banknorth, she served as an analyst at two New England banking companies. Fortin is a member of the North East Acquirers Association.

A Sabattus resident, Fortin is a Lewiston native who graduated from St. Dominic’s Regional High School in 1981.
