COOPERS MILLS – Loretta Blaisdell of Coopers Mills died Oct. 14 after a long illness.

She was born in Rumford, June 29, 1922, the daughter of the late Dominic and Mary Gironda. She graduated from Stephens High School in Rumford.

She is survived by four children, Harry Blaisdell of Somerville, Mass., Michael Blaisdell and his companion, Diane Howe of Bethel, Bonnie and Michael Cappucci of Manchester, Conn. and Bettina Desrochers of St. Johnsbury, Vt.; a brother, Al Geronda of Rumford; sisters, Florence and Ellen Gironda and Ann Hogan of East Hartford, Conn.; and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is predeceased by a grandson, Harold Michael Blaisdell, sisters, Mary Kelly, Rose Kidder and Bettina Geronda and brothers, Victor, Frank and John.
