AUBURN – Bates College graduate Lauren E. Bauder of Somerville, Mass., has been hired by Rinck Advertising to lead the agency’s mobile marketing division. Bauder will be responsible for event management in Maine and throughout New England, New York and Pennsylvania.

The 2006 Bates graduate has a bachelor of arts degree in English, with a minor in French. While in college, she worked as an advertising intern for Rinck Advertising gaining experience in brand building, advertising, promotions, Internet marketing, public relations, and media buying. Bauder also participated in many campus activities including event planning, concert organization and touring.

Bauder’s current project includes leading a major New England tour for Garelick Farms. The tour is scheduled for 67 stops throughout New England including Boston, Hartford, Providence and Portland. Bauder will act as event liaison, tour manager and lead a team of 15 event staff.
